For this I first worked out how the cotton had been weaved together, and just recreated the pattern in Photoshop. I then used some custom brushes to make it fluffy and add some variation.
smaller to give an example of how it'd look on a cotton shirt (the weaving would be so small it'd barely be noticeable).

Maybe a bit more linear than the reference but looking good! And I like the change. Your metal one is my fav tho.
ReplyDeleteAh I see what you mean, a lot of downwards lines! Thanks for pointing it out :) I could probably edit that out if I decide to go back to it. I haven't done anything new the past few days, because I have a job interview... so have been preparing for that, but hopefully will get back to work tonight.
